We would like to remind our customers that knowingly introducing anything into the St. Vrain Sanitation District collection system other than domestic waste is a violation of the regulations that govern the operation of the District.

Domestic waste is limited to:

• Waste from the bathroom (toilets, sinks, bathtub/shower)
• Washing clothes
• Dish washing

Discharging basement sumps into the domestic sewer is NOT ALLOWED. The only industrial wastewater accepted must be approved prior to discharge and must meet all specifications of the District.

If you observe any suspicious activity around a sewer manhole or trunk line, please immediately call our office (303) 776-9570 or for an emergency call (303) 994-7572. The District will pay a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone dumping any waste illegally into the St. Vrain Sanitation District collection system.
